At Anukrati Jaipur, every custom order is a journey — crafted with purpose, artistry, and attention to detail. Here’s how we turn your vision into timeless textiles:
Inspiration & Theme:
We begin with your story — a concept rooted in nature, tradition, celebration, or personal narrative. This gives the pattern purpose and emotional value.
- Nature-Inspired: Leaves, flowers, vines, trees, birds.
- Cultural & Traditional: Mughal motifs, jaali work, paisleys, mandalas, tribal art.
- Geometric & Minimal: Lines, dots, grids, chevrons, arches.
- Storytelling Motifs: Rural life, festivals, flora-fauna interaction, mythology.
Example: A theme like “Monsoon Garden” might include stylized raindrops, blooming lotus, and dancing peacocks.
Pattern Structure
Motifs are sketched, carved, and tested using traditional wooden blocks. We explore layouts — from scattered butis to intricate jaals or borders —
that best express the theme. Here are the most common types
- Buti Style :Scattered motifs placed in rows.
- Jaal Pattern :Interlinked vines/flowers creating an all-over web.
- Geometric Motifs : Stripes, Grids, Hexagons, Circles: Clean, modern, often symmetrical.
- Central Panel + Border : Common in quilts or cushion covers.
Block Size Consideration: Typically ranges from 4×4 to 8×8 inches. Ensure repeat units match the block size.
Color Palette Selection
Custom palettes are hand-mixed using pigment-based dyes, guided by Pantone shade cards. The shades shift with every season, every batch — that’s the beauty.
• Choose palette that reflects the theme and enhances the visual impact of the block print
• Pigment Dyes, known for their rich saturation, soft hand-feel, and long-lasting vibrancy.
• Color Development is guided by Pantone shade cards, ensuring precision, consistency, and custom matching for collections or brand collaborations.
• Color Approaches: Modern Neutrals: Sage, olive, sand, dusty pink, muted terracotta — ideal for minimalist or contemporary aesthetics.
• Seasonal Palettes: Pastels for spring/summer, deep jewel tones for festive/winter collections.
Tip: Use darker tones for motifs and lighter bases for contrast, or vice versa for a tonal, layered
